Goals: "To Educate, To Empower, and To Support"
In communities across Ontario PCMH is reaching out to families to build support networks and provide the information they need to help their children.
PCMH is mobilizing families, building networks and partnerships with agencies, professionals, politicians to change public awareness of children and youth mental health issues.
Working together and supporting each other we will be more effective in helping our children and youth.
Together, we can challenge the stigmatization of mental illness, get the information we need, access services that are truly supportive, and build communities that are welcoming for our children and youth.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our children, our families, and our communities.
PCMH provides its members and public with an online resource that provides accurate and relevant information about child and youth mental health and services and resources available.
PCMH provides educational presentations to agencies, educators, public, and membership about the Family Perspective and what is needed to allow our children, youth, and families to achieve success.
Through representation at a Government level, we ensure the family voice is being heard and is influencing system transformations.
Through partnerships with Provincial, National, and International Committees we bring the family voice to the forefront of the work in child and youth mental health.
We are the families of children and youth who face mental health challenges and we are dedicated to ensuring that children, youth, and their families have access to all the mental health services and supports they need.
